Montage Pirate's Treasure AX, AXJ, NF, NJP Tracking Certified "Rum" This be the pup that stayed at Montage in New York City. Some pirates want pieces of eight but others say rum be the real treasure. My Rummy is a treasure! She is outgoing, affectionate and super smart like her mama. The piratey part of her nature comes through as thievery. She steals from people's pockets and takes all the toys fer her own. She can frequently be found dragging her human through the fields while tracking and was Tracking Certified in 2015, although pregnancy interfered with TD tests. She also dragged me into the agility ring, something I resisted for many years. She has a lovely, fluid jumping style and an enthusiastic approach to every agility game. Even though she is the first agility dog for me, we have had lots of success in spite of not being able to attend any classes. Rum has an impressive collection of blue ribbons, including a trophy from the ABTC 2015 National Specialty for 1st place in Excellent Jumpers in a large class of competitors! We are now on a break from agility after motherhood. Rum is the dam of the Montage Rummies litter. |
| CH Montage Pirate's Code NAJ "Parlez" The Pirate Code of the Brethren includes the right to declare Parlez, in which the person who declares it shall be taken to the enemy captain for negotiations and shall remain unharmed by the crew until such time. "Parlez" was a member of Rusty Pearson's pirate agility crew in Colorado, and also tried her paws at breed showing, finishing her championship with 3 majors, including two 5 pointers, shown by Darcy Ferrentino and Rusty himself. She was just getting going in her agility career when Rusty became seriously ill. She gave him much comfort and love until his passing. She now lives with Darlene Pineda in North Carolina and is a much loved companion. |

MACH Montage Pirate's Life For Me MX MXB MXJ MJB MXF T2B BCAT "Savvy" Savvy was Rusty Pearson's up and coming "power agility" pirate. After Rusty's illness, Savvy went to live with Rusty's dear friends Scott and Eileen Allen in the Chicago area. The Allens are fellow agility addicts and had Savvy's brother Cap'n from puppyhood. Since then, Savvy earned his Agility Championship with Scott and plundered many blue ribbons. They are a very dynamic team. Just get out of their way, Aaaaarh! Rusty must be thrilled to know his Savvy man is well loved and still having a grand time playing the agility game. |
| Montage the Flying Dutchman OA, NAJ "Dutch" Dutch used to be known as "Plumpy the Purple Pirate" but its a fact that nobody thinks yer fierce with a name like Plumpy so now he be called Dutch after the fearsome Pirate Ghost Ship of the Carribean. Dutch captured the hearts of Cathy and Joe Parisi and their large, growing family in NY. He is a much loved companion, stable, enthusiastic and really sweet (for a fearsome Pirate, that is)! |

Montage Hoist the Colors XF, AXJ, AX "Cap'n" The dreaded skull and crossbones flag known as "the colors" struck terror into the hearts of sailors (and Border Collies) everywhere. Cap'n joined the pirate agility crew of Scott and Eileen Allen in IL and quickly proved himself to the rest o' the crew as a baby pirate by breaking out of the brig and stealing plunder. He made his agility debut with Scott in March 2013, starting with some wild action in tunnelers, fast and novice jumpers, earned Qs, blues and had to walk the plank a few times, too. He was the first Pirate to title in the litter and was a great success trialing in Masters, always super fast and on the wild side. When Cap'n was eight years old he had a sudden, completely unexpected bout of bloat and went onward sailing to his next journey over the next horizon. He is sorely missed. |
| Montage High Seas Marauder AG, SJ, SN "Rogue" The 18th century was notorious for marauding pirates on the high seas intercepting Spanish galleons and taking the loot back to their pirate lairs in the Caribbean. "Rogue" be living up to his name - a rambunctious, pillaging, piratey pup with lots of charm! Johnny Depp has nothing on him. Rogue joined the pirate menagerie o' Tim White and Rachel Blackmer in NC, which includes .. wait for it ... a Parrot that says AAAAAARGH! |

Montage Shiver Me Timbers "Timber" When the cannon balls and big waves hit a pirate ship, the timbers may shiver! Timber be a big, handsome, affectionate Pirate with excellent structure and breed type. He joined the crew o' Darlene Pineda in North Carolina and was a dearly loved companion. |
