| This whole litter had bacterial encephalitis at 5 weeks old and we almost lost them all but they pulled through after a course of very strong antibiotics. The surfer kids have been thyroid tested: 4 out of the 5 were mid-range normal, one had low T4 with normal autoantibodies TgAA. One had autoimmune issues and seizures that began at age 6. The rest of the litter remained seizure free throughout their lives. None of them were used for breeding. |
